For many of us, hair removal is part of everyday life. Whether you choose shaving or waxing, electrolysis or hair removal cream, the options can be painful, messy and ineffective, as well as time consuming. At Ziba Medical & Day Spa, our laser hair removal technology of choice is the Lumenis  LightSheer Quattro. Lumenis has been pioneering hair removal for more than 50 years, and you will be receiving the most advanced hair removal treatment available, by our highly trained aesthetics team. Safety is of utmost importance to us, and your treatment will be personally approved by our Board Certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Saied Asfa. The LightSheer Quattro will give you long-lasting results, more comfortable treatments than other lasers, and very quick treatment times.

The LightSheer Quattro uses a clinically-proven diode laser to penetrate the skin to effectively reduce or completely eliminate unwanted hair, quickly and comfortably. The LightSheer Quattro features two unique technologies: high speed vacuum assisted technology for large treatment areas; and ChillTip technology, which is a cooled sapphire tip used on smaller, more delicate areas. The LightSheer Quattro is generally suited to safely treat all skin types and tones, as well as all types of hair. Laser hair removal is most effective when hair is at an early growth stage. Because not all hairs will be at the same stage of growth at the same time, multiple sessions will be needed for the most optimal results. Most people require four to six very brief treatments, 4-6 weeks apart. Some people may require additional treatments depending on skin type and hair color. On average, 80 to 90% of the hair is permanently gone upon completion of laser hair removal treatments, and in many cases it can be 100% eliminated. We advise our clients to recognize that a small amount of hair may slowly return, but the hair will be much finer and thinner. Touch-up treatments may be needed in the future. Everyone’s hair is different, so some people have a touch-up once a year, while others might not need a touch-up for five years. 

NOTE: If you would like to use numbing cream, we will prescribe it for you in advance of your appointment. You will need to apply the cream to the areas that will be treated 30 minutes in advance of your treatment; please bring your cream with you in case you need an additional application. Please shave treatment area(s) prior to your laser hair removal appointment. If you do not shave, there is a $15 shaving fee to have this taken care of prior to your treatment. 

PRICING: $50 for initial consultation with Dr. Asfa to ensure you are a candidate for laser hair removal. Treatments will be performed by an aesthetician, and we will do our best to coordinate so you may schedule your treatment to occur immediately following your initial consultation with Dr. Asfa.
